This is our son Jaylin. He has many special needs; many of which we were able to provide for during the years he lived in our home. In early 2021 it became abundantly clear that we needed to seek additional help for him and expand his care beyond our home. Jaylin is currently living at a Therapeutic Board School where they are helping him daily work through his particular challenges. Would you consider partnering with us to fund his care?

Many years ago the Lord placed the call on our hearts to seek adoption. We had no idea of all the ups and downs that would come with obeying Him, yet not for a minute has He left us on our own nor alone. Those first few years were filled with building family attachments, growing in many ways, therapies, reading and learning about parenting a child with some special needs. For many years we were able to homeschool him allowing us to pour love, attention, truth into him. Hard days were always present yet as he got older it became more intense and challenging; issues were mounting. 

Through many circumstances and prayers, God led us to the truth that our home could no longer provide the level of care that he needed, and by his grace alone, he provided a place for Jaylin.  We became aware that God was leading us to expand Jaylin's care by including support from outside of our home.

We enrolled him in a therapeutic boarding school that specializes in working with kids who need intense daily direction and discipline. We have no doubt that this is all part of God’s good plan for Jaylin. 

We believe that God will continue to provide for Jaylin, his treatment and healing. Therapeutic boarding schools are expensive and yet this is where God has placed Jaylin for his healing and care. God owns the cattle on a 1,000 hills; the universe belongs to Him and Him alone. So we claim by faith that He will provide for Jaylin to continue his healing journey now and beyond. The cost of his therapeutic boarding school is $3,000 per month and provides boarding, schooling, meals, medical care (including caring for his epilepsy/seizures) and most importantly group and individual therapy to help him drill deep into his own trauma and behavioral issues. 

Until now it has “taken a village” to care for Jaylin; our home, our extended family, prayer warriors, doctors, therapists, teachers and others. Contributions are received by The Fortress Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) non profit corporation. 100% of all payments received will be paid to the Education Fund. The Fortress Foundation does not profit from any of these gifts.

Funds will be utilized for Medical Bills, School Fees, Travel, and Tuition.
